I am surprised, Suzanne, that all the houses in Mona St were different when they were built. I thought they were a typical example of Victorian terracing, where each house was identical.

I note from my photographs that they certainly are not now - there appear to be extensions on extensions! A picture of the back of 4 Mona St, taken last year, clearly shows the extension on stilts that was added to the first floor landing to take the indoor toilet and bathroom (for guests only, we weren't allowed to use it). And that was in the early 60s! But I still have very happy memories of the house!
