Many of these were by William Home Lizars of Edinburgh, 1795-1859.
An unusual feature of this guide was the set of small engravings (3/page) of many of the main churches on the Island.
As common in these guides the index of called for plates does not quite match those provided; the woodblocks, shown in italic, are not included in this page.
