Note the rental book had two columns - one for Rent (in pence) and the other for Hens ( a hangover from the days when tenants paid in kind , the book has a price equivalent for the various rents paid in kind). The Entry column, not seen in previous books, is presumeably the year the tenant entered into possession.
This book appears to have been in use until 1890 - #26 (Michael Street) shows the major development of this plot.
The Abbeyland properties in Peel comprise the area approximately bounded by Market Street, the Shore, Bridge Street and Michael Street.
