Manorial Roll 1728 – German Cottages (Peel)

 Like later rolls this book remained in force for a number of years - entries were annotated m17xx = deed passed through court in May of that year o17xx in October of that year. As before all Roman numbers used for amounts have been transcribed as arabic numerals and are in pence. (ob = obolus or one half; qd- ¼d)
