Proposed boundaries of Towns of the Isle of Man for the purpose of the Act for the Improvement of the Towns - Castletown

The boundaries of the Town of Castletown. From the south-west end
of Abraham Champion's house in Queen Street and on the opposite side
of the street thirty yards deep, in KnockRushen flatt, where not built
upon, and from thence along the south-east, north east and north
boundaries of the fields at the back of Queen Street, the Parade and
Arbory street, as far as the houses and buildings extend, and thirty
yards deep from thence, in a field adjoining the road to a point
opposite the north west end of Mr Newton's buildings; from thence
along the Mr Newton's garden wall, and in a direct line from the north
corner thereof to the west corner of Mr Wm Downe's garden adjoining
the property of Mrs Catherine Crellin, and along the said garden
wall, and from the north corner of the said garden wall, in a
straight line, to a point in a field opposite the north west corner
of Mr John Ferguson's garden, thirty yards distant from the highway;
from thence along the north wall of the said garden, in astraight
line, to the end of the road leading to the Bowling Green House
and from thence along the said road to the west end of the Bowling
Green out-offices, and from thence along the walls behind the saiud Offices,
and from the north corner of the garden wall, in a straight line
to a point thirty yards distant from the highway, in the field opposite
the lane at the north end of Mrs Gibson's house and from thence
along the east side of the said line, to the sea shore, and along the
sea shore to the back of Abraham Champion's House
