Peel Castle and BayPhotograph probably dates from c.1891, the access road to the castle is built, just visible (on larger image) is what appears the large 'goliath' crane, as well as the smaller erection crane, used to construct the breakwater in 1891. It was futher extended by 400 feet between 1895 to 1897. |
