Listing of Manx View Postcards issued by
Stengel & Co

The following table is based on the research of Mike and Alan Kelly of Mannin Collections (Peel, IoM) to whom I am grateful for their sharing of this research - the few blank spaces are assumed to be Manx view cards which are not in their collection. Any notes are however my addition.

The Numbering scheme would appear to have been modified to be Ennnnn but often with a plate number usually in the bottom rh corner of the image - I possess two versions of E26751 - one without the E number (i.e. just a plate number) and one with; it is possible thae the initial E is an addition to an original 5 figure numbering scheme. Although the numbering scheme would appear to indicate 2 sequentially numbered batches they are likely to be contemporary judging from the postal datesof those in the Kelly collection (these dates range from August 1903 with the latest posting December 1914). Some of the images would appear to dated from late 1890s.
