These chapters are a slight editing and reworking of the "Story of Manx Methodism" began by Ms E.V.Chapman, the first archivist of the Manx Methodist Society, and issued in 1971 but left incomplete at her death.
She entitled then "an interim report" and asked that they be made available in the hope that they would provoke fuller research and eventually form a complete history.
