The IoMSPCo issued many advertising brochures - some were sponsored journalism such as Hall Caine's "Little Man Island" of 1894, others were sponsored histories of the company.
They also needed to issue guides, timetables and price lists - two such have been selected here, though 33 years apart, the basic format, and arrangement of text, was very similar
