Punt a pound.
Skillin a shilling.
Ping a penny.
Lhieng . a halfpenny.
Farling . a farthing.

The following may be taken as an example of the mode of expressing a sum of money in Manx. Say the sum is

£2578 :16:9¾:— Daa ‘housane, queig keead, three feed as hoght-puint-jeig, shey-skillingn-jeig, as nuy pingyn, three farlengyn
