Conventions Respecting the Deliberation of David de Bruys.

CONVENTIONS RESPECTING THE DELIBERATION OF DAVID DE BRUYS.

A.D. 1355.

ITEM.-That the truces be affirmed and held by competent letters and oaths, by and between the King of England and all his people, as well in England and in Scotland, as in the Isle of Man, and the said Sir David de Bruys, and all the other people of Scotland and their adherents, by land and by sea, in every place, without fraude or evil intent, and that the said agreement be fully kept ; and that Sir Edward de Baillol, and all others, allies and adherents of the King of England be comprised in the said truces.

28 ED. III. ITEM.-Que trewes soient affirmez et tenuz, par seuffissante soerte de lettres et sermentz, par entre le Roy d' Engleterre et touz ses gentz, si bien en Engle-terre et en Escoce, comme en l'Isle de Man, et le dit monsieur David de Brus, et touz les autres gentz d' Escoce, et leur adherdantz, par terre et par miere, en touz lieus et places, sanz fraunde ou mal engyn, antge la dite summe soit pleinement paie; et que monsieur Edward de Baillol, et touz autres, alliliez et enherdantz du Roy d' Engleterre, soient compries en les dites trewes.
