GRANT OF KNIGHT'S FEE TO REGINALD. A.D. 1219.

 

 

THE King to G. de Marischal, Justice of Ireland, greeting. Know that Reginald, King of Man, came to London and did homage to us. And we command that you give unto the same Reginald, King of Man, yearly, two hogsheads of wine, and one hundred and twenty crannocks of corn, as he held the same the gift of our father king John, without any hinderance, as a fee of one knight, with appurtenances in Ireland, the same as in the time of our father king John. Witness as above.
