EPISCOPAL SEAL.

BISHOP HENRY BRIDGMAN, of Brazenose College, Oxford, created D.D. in 1660, Dean of Chester and Rector of Bangor, was consecrated Bishop of Sodor and Mann, at Chester, on the 1st October, 1671. He died on the 18th May, 1682, and was buried in Chester Cathedral. The above Seal has been engraved by Mr. W. C. Lockerby, from a drawing by Captain Stokes in 1868, and kindly lent by Mrs. Cecil Hall.
