Nine numbers of MANNIN have been published, and now, owing to the lamented death of Miss Sophia Morrison, her work in that respect is brought to a close.

Our thanks are due to Mr. F. Leach for the special design of the Memorial Poem by 'Cushag;' to Mr. Ralfe for his kind loan of the block of 'The Stack and western Cliffs of the Calf from his book The Birds of the Isle of Man; and to Mr. Kermode for a similar loan of the illustration of the remarkable 'Thor Cross,' Kirk Bride, which was published in Translations from the Icelandic, by the Rev. W. C. Green, M.A., in The King's Classics of Messrs. Chatto & Windus.

It is not now proposed to supply covers for the Magazine, but a complete index is being prepared and as soon as published will be sent out at as low a price as possible to Subscribers who apply to Miss Morrison, Athol Street, Peel. Only a limited number will be printed, applications therefore should be made at once. Back numbers of MANNIN may also be obtained from the same address.
