1754. INSUFFERABLE AND INSOLENT BEHAVIOUR IN COURT OF MARGARET COLVIN.

AT A CONSISTORY COURT HOLDEN AT DOUGLASS FEB : 5, 1754.

Margret Colvin of Douglass having behaved in open Court after a most insufferable and insolent manner, making a jest of the Court and despising Our Admonitions,-For her Insolence herein she is to be forthwith Comitted in St : German's prison until she gives Bonds of £3 ad usum Dei that she will demean herself w^th all due Respect to the Court for the future - her fine also to be considered.
