THE FEE FOR TEACHING THE TRADE & ART OF A JOYNOR.

Be it known unto all men by these presents that I Rich: Moor joynor in the town of Duglass do confess my self to have received att and from the hands of Thomas Quay of Ballavilla in the parish of KK St Anne the full & just sum of 20 shings and likewise a boul of meall corn in the behaf of his brother Patrick Quay for instructing and teaching him perfect in the Trad [sic] and art that I now profess, and moreover I am to receive f rom the sd Tho Quay ten sh att Christ=mass next. I say received the sd sum of 20 s and the boule of meall corn the day & year above
