MEETING AT THE TOWN HALL, DOUGLAS, 3 FEBRUARY, 1916.

The following were elected members :--Mr. Sunderland Kerr, Mr. Rathbone and Mrs. Moore-Clague.

Mr. Hughes-Games presented his Report as Delegate to the British Association Meeting at Manchester.

Deemsier Callow read a paper by Mr, F. Swynnerton on 'Manx Pigmy Implements.' He exhibited a sword from the South Sea Islands; the wooden weapon was studded at the sides with sharks' teeth, and he suggested that the small sharp pieces of flint might have been used in a similar manner.

Mr. W. Cubbon remarked upon the traces of a submerged forest at Strandhall, and suggested that the remains of a tree now exposed on the beach should be secured for the Museum.
