To the Extors of Jno Quillin Esqr late Attorney Genl his Salary from the 17th May 1765 to the 5th July 1767, the time when the Act took place for raising a Revenue to defray the expences of Government in the Isle of Man being 2 years & 50 days after the Rate of £15 @ ann the allowance he recd from the late proprietor

Note after this Period some of the lastmentioned Constables Died; Others finding no Salaries paid resigned, Others grew negligent; But several continued to do their Duty - It is therefore humbly proposed that they should be all paid for those 2 years and such as are upon proper enquiry found to have continued to have done their Duty to be brought into a future Charge and when paid off to be discharged
To 2 yrs Salary ending 5th July 1769 for the 6 Coroners of the Island at £3 @ annum each, as established by the said Order of Council

NB In the Abstract of the Receipt of his Majesty's Revenues in the Isle of Man from the time it became vested in the Crown upon Imports, Exports and the Herring Custom delivered to the Right Honble the Lords of the Treasury the 6th July 1767 the preceeding Midsummer Quarter was not then come to hand and being prior to the Act passed in the 7th of his present Majesty for "Regulating the Trade &c and for establishing a Fund for defraying the Expences of Government there" is not brought into the above Account. But the Amount thereof being £283 13s 0¾d remains in my hands to be placed to the Credit of the Receipt of his Majesty's Revenue in the Isle of Man.
