John Clague Kneen 28 bundles of rushes "in his passure Close for to latch the house that Capt Thomas Howard had in the said Close". Stolen by John MLood "and his mother". He gave the Coroner "a hand suite" to search for the Rushes and they were found in possession of MLood and his mother. A jury was sworn but Kneen couldn't prove it and his in Moar's Debet for 3/6d. Doesn't have "as much goods or effects in the world as can reach to the said fine by reason that my goods being laitly taken up in other debts. Fine remitted"In respect of poverty and other reasons shewn"
