Castle Rushen Sketch of South front with a building (which does not now exist) between it and the Market Place. Query Does this represent the "Dwelling House for a Governor or Lt.Gov.,and a Court Room and Gaol,which might be built on the ground on the outside of that angle of the Castle which faces the Market Place." as suggested in the final paragraph with regard to Castle Rushen in G.Steuart's Report.
