THOMAS CLUCAS (b. 1810, d. 1876),

a native of the Isle of Man, was, in 1856, appointed to the office of Jurat of Guernsey, i.e., a Judge of the Supreme Tribunal of that island, and, a little later in the same year, he was also appointed Judge of Alderney, in which island he resided.
