Horse to Castletown or Peel, 5s.; to Ramsey, Kirk Michael, Port Erin, or Port-le-Mary, 7s.

Gig to Castletown or Peel, 8s. to 12s.; to Ramsey, Kirk Michael, Port Erin, or Port-le-Mary, 13s. @ 14s.

Post Chaise to Castletown or Peel, 12S.; to Ramsey, 21s., Kirk Michael, 21s.; Port Erin or Port-le-Mary, 18s. @ 20s. Barouche or open Carriage, according to the number of passengers.

VALUE OF LAND, &c.

Good land is worth X20 T acre, at an average. Inferior land, £5 @ £6 p acre. Rental of judicious purchase,£4,£5, @ £6 pcent.

Yearly rent of land @ acre, from 6S. @ 30s. Good fields in the neighbourhood of the towns, fetch from £3 @ £4 acre.
