1 CHOUD as ta ainleyn troggal kiaull,
Ny harpyn airhey oc ayns shiaull
Dy ghoaill yn joarree thie,
Yn boggey am ta seiyt lesh jeir,
E chaarjyn-treoghe ec smoolnaght er
Ta keayney nish ayns graih.

2 Son coayl ny n’gerjagh smoo ‘sy theihll
Keayney ; ny-yeih ta er ny reayll
Veih seaghyn harrish cair,
Er son nyu mraar, t’er sooyl gys sash,
Myr tra hooar Lazarus graihagh baase,
Nyn Jiarn ren shilley jeir.

3 Lesh ennaght dowin ta shin pleadeil,
Cha nee myr deiney gyn treishteil
Dy akin reesht nyn mraar:
Meeit mayd yn annym maynrey heose;
Ayns baase t’ain shickyrys dy hreisht,
Jeh maynrys erskyn glare.

4 O lhig dooin eisht lesh slane nyn gree
Geiyrt er nyn garrey seose gys Jee;
As smooinaght er yn laa,
Tra hee mayd Creest cheet ayns yn aer,
As ooiiley ‘nooghyn chur-my-ner
Marish, ayns ooashley brâ.

5 Marish yn earroo mooar gloyroil
Hee mayd nyn garrey, dy gerjoil
