[The fee for an ordinary marriage license is 7s 6d ; and for a special license, including fee to the Bishop's Secretary, £6 6s; which license the Bishop may, if he sees fit, grant for solemnization of marriages according to the rites of the Church of England, in any chapel duly licensed for the celebration ot divine worship. The following is the 7th clause of the Isle of Man Marriage Act, 1849:-- "And be it enacted that no license of mariage shall, from and after the promulgation of this act, be granted by the Bishop, Vicar- General, or Surrogate, or person having authority to=gvant such, license, to solemnize any marriage in any other-church, or, chapel, than in the parish church or chapel duly licensed by the Bishop for that purpose, of or belonging to the parish within which the usual place of abode of one of the persons to be married for the space of thirty days immediately before the granting of such license"

Judges: The Governor, President; the Clerk of the Rolls; the two Deemsters. The Court consists of three Divisions-the Chancery Division, the Common Law Division, and the Staff of Government Division-the Clerk of the Rolls being the Judge ordinary of the Chancery Division, but the latter sitting separately and exercising summary jurisdiction in the matters of debt, &c., as formerly in the Deemster's Court.
