Note my copy is missing the title page, a common failing as it was pasted to the map which being heavy and presumably often consulted, was often detached from the rest of the book - there is a detailed index but the contents list is my own summary of the various chapter subjects - I have dated it to 1887 based on a date within the end-paper advertisements. There were many editions of this work from 1875 through to the 1920s.
