These are summaries of various Braddan wills for which a fuller transcription was not made - they were done in course of other research and are given here in case other researchers find them useful - other pages give Arbory wills etc- many more are still to be summarised (there are some 2,500 wills in this period of which about 50% get some mention here) , Braddan which included Douglas was home to many non-Manx merchants, their affairs were generally complex and the wills include considerable details of the workings of the Running Trade
