In the name of God amen
I Elizabeth Redfern of Castletown widow
and executrix of Joshua Redfern some
time ago of this same place now
deceased being of sound mind
memory and understanding at the
time of the making hereof but considering
the uncertainty of this life do make this
my last will and testament in the manner following
I commit my soul to God and my body
to be buried at the discretion of my executors
herein after named.
I leave and bequeath unto my cousin
Thomas Wattleworth now or late of London
the sum of one hundred pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto Isabella
Addams the wife of John Addams late of
Douglas baker the sum of forty pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath unto Misses Leonora
Quirk, Eliza Quirk and Margaret Quirk
the daughters of Mr Richard Quirk of
Castletown aforesaid the sum of forty
pounds British each, and to the said
Richard Quirk the sum of ten pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath unto my old
and faithful servant Margaret King
otherwise Quayle now or late of Liverpool
the sum of five pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto Misses
Lucas the daughters of John Lucas of
Knock Rushen in Malew Esquire the
sum of sixty pounds British to be
equally divided between them share 
and share alike.
I leave and bequeath unto William
Redfern of Douglas sail maker the sum
of ten pounds British.
I leave unto Margaret Stott my
present servant the sum of five pounds
British and a feather bed and bedding
complete.
I leave and bequeath unto my Godson
- Graves the son of Henry Graves esqre
collector of the port of Peel the sum of fifty
pounds British
I leave unto Elizabeth Moore the
wife of James Moore near Douglas
bleacher the sum of fifty pounds Brit.
I leave and bequeath unto John
Graves of Peel aforesaid the sum of
fifty pounds British.
I leave unto Thomas J Graves of
Peel aforesaid sail maker the sum of
five pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto my late
servant Elizabeth Keid the daughter of Markr ?
Keid late of Castletown aforesaid deceased
the sum of five pounds British.
I leave unto Catherine Gelling daughters of John
Gelling of Castletown aforesaid joiner
the sum of five pounds British each.
I leave and bequeath unto Elizabeth
Cumming of Liverpool the sum of one
hundred pounds British independent of
a dwelling house and premises which
I have by deed bearing e[] date herewith
granted and assured unto her.
I leave unto John Redfern of Liverpool
aforesaid sailmaker the sum of one pound
British independent of certain houses
lands and premises in Castletown afsd
which I have by deed bearing even date
herwith granted and assured unto the
said John Redfern and I do hereby
relinquish and give up the claim of one
hundred and fifty pounds British mentioned
in my said late husband's will which I
may have by deed executed to me previous
to my intermarriage with my said
late husband.  I leave and 
bequeath unto John Quayle son of John Quayle
of Castletown afsd Esqre  five pounds Brit. I leave &
bequeath unto Mary Parsons the eldest
daughter of the Revd George S Parsons
of Castletown aforesaid the sum of ten
pounds British.
I leave and bequeath unto Leonora
Cannell of Castletown aforesaid widow
of Thomas Cannell deceased the sum
of twenty pounds British and the one 
half of a seat or pew in Saint Mary's
Chapel in Castletown aforesaid.
I leaver unto James Quirk Junr
son of James Quirk esquire High Bailiff
of Douglas the sum of twenty pounds
British.
I leave and bequeath unto the chaplain
and wardens of Saint Mary's Chapel in
Castletown aforesaid for the time being the
sum of twenty pounds British for the use
of the poor of Castletown aforesaid to be
