Archdeacon Wills, 1816, #66, of Margaret Wattleworth of Lezayre, widow:

"In the name of God. Amen. The twelveth day of October on thousand eight hundred and fifteen. I Margret Wattleworth, Widow, of the parish of Lezayre, being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind, memory and understanding, thank be given unto God, therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body, knowing that it is appointed unto men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. That is to say principally and first of all, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it, and my body I recomment to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executors, nothing doubting but at the general resurrection, I shall receive the same again by the Almighty power of God. And touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life, I give ... and dispose of the same, in the following manner and form. First, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Easther all my shaped apperal and twenty shillings as legacy. Also, I give and bequeath unto my son John a six pence as legacy. Also, I give and bequeath unto my a six pence as legacy. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine a six pence as Legacy. Also I gave unto my daughter Margret a she calf about five months old. Lastly, I nominate, constitute, ordain and appoint my two daughters Margret and Elizabeth joint and sole executrixes of this my last will and testament all and singular the residue of any worldly goods of what name, nature or denomination soever by them to be peaceably possessed and enjoyed, they paying unto the witnesses of this will and testament the sum of two shillings each. And I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke, and disannul all and every other former testaments, wills, legacies, bequests and executors by me ina any ways before named, willed, and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my mark this day and year above written, signed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Margret Wattleworth as her last will and testament in teh presence of us the subscribers. At a Chapter Court holden in Ramsey the 13th June 1816, the executrices are sworn in Court in form of law . . ."
