Archdeacon Wills 1794 #31, Malew, of Isabel Taggart als Quine of Malew:

‘This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Isabal Taggart als Quine of the parish of Malew, being of sound mind and memory at the making hereof. First she committed her soul to God and her body to the earth. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her son John Taggart her part of the Intack land called the Rest. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her son William two guineas and what remains in his hands of the price of a bullock he sold in Douglas. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her granddaughter Margaret Halsall a guinea and the little heifer. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her granddaughter Ann Halsall the lame girl a guinea. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her daughter Elizabeth a guinea. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her daughter Isabal five shillings and her wearing clothes. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her son Robert five shillings. Lastly, she nominated constituted and appointed her two daughters Ellinor and Margaret whole executrices of all the rest of her goods and effects moveable and immoveable be they of what kind so ever, debarring any other person or persons of with six pence legacy each that could claim any right to her goods or effects and this in presence of us the witnesses hereof this 10th day of November 1793. At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown Jxxx 1794, John Keggeen husband of Margaret and Ellinor the executors named are sworn in Court in form of Law to be true and just the one to the other in the division of the effects and have given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the will.’
