Archdeacon Will 1792 #49, Andreas, of William Radcliffe of Knock y Cue[?], Andreas, made 21 Dec 1791:

"The last will and testament of William Radcliffe of the parish of KK Andreas, made about the 21st day of December 1791, this Testator being of sound and perfect memory at the declaring of the same. First, he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he left and bequeathed to his sons namely William, Daniel, Philip & James Radcliff the sum of twenty shillings each as legacies. Item, he left and bequeathed to his son Thomas Radcliff the sum of five pounds as legacy. Item, he left and bequeathed to John Kneale’s son a sheep. Item, he left and bequeathed to the poor of the parish the sum of two shillings. Item, he left and bequeathed to his daughter Margaret Radcliffe all his purchased lands as legacy. Item, he left and bequeathed to any person or persons pretending any claim or title to break his will whatever legacy the Law requires on such occasion. Lastly, he nominated and appointed his daughter Margaret Radcliffe to be Executrix of all the rest of his goods and effects whatsoever. Item, he left to the witnesses of his will six pence each. Witnesses: Catharine Kneale, Margaret Corlett. Whereas William Radcliffe of Knock y Cuxxxx in the parish of KK Andreas departed this life about the 21st day of December last, and previous to his demise made his last will and testament and among many other things appointed his only daughter Margaret Radcliffe Executrix, and whereas William Radcliffe, Daniel Radcliffe, Thomas and Philip Radcliffe his sons were for objecting against the probate of said Will but to avoid any dispute or objection against the probate of said Will, she the said Executrix and her four brethren aforesaid have come to the following agreement on condition that she the said Margaret Radcliff is to pay her said brother William the sum of ten pounds the legacy left xx included and likewise that she is to pay to her brother Daniel twenty shillings over and above the legacy bequeathed him by his father in said Will and to her said brother Thomas she is to pay twenty shillings over and above what is left him as legacy in said Will, and to her said brother Philip she is to pay two pounds over and above the legacy left to him in said Will, and upon that account they the said William Radcliffe, Daniel Radcliffe, Thomas Radcliffe, and Philip Radcliffe do hereby allow and consent their said sister to take the xxx of said will and to be sworn Executrix, and xxx this true and faithful performance xxxx and singular the before written agreement, all parties concerned do hereby firmly bind and oblige themselves and their heirs, Executors &c., in and under the penalty of twenty pounds sterling to be levied accordingly to Law; Witness their names and marks this 21st day of June 1792. At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre 21st June 1792: Margaret Radcliff, Daniel Radcliffe, Thomas Radcliffe, Philip Radcliffe and William Radcliff the subscribing parties of the before going xxx of agreement acknowledge the same to be their proper and voluntary act and deed. Before us, [signed] Ev. Christian, Wm Clucas."
