At a Chapter Court holden at Castletown on the 13th day of October 1790

Castletown
Alice Redfern of Castletown departed this life
on or about the 20th day of August last past Intestate
and the court having intelligence thereof have in virtue
of a deed of assignment and [ass?]ignation granted by Thomas Cannell &
Leonora his wife of Castletown to Thos Redfern of the
said town bearing date the 13th day of October 1790
and hereunto annexed decreed him the said Thomas
Redfern administrator of all and singular her
goods chattels and effects moveable and immoveable
whatsoever. He is thereupon sworn well and truly to
administer the said estate of this intestate and to pay
all her just debts so far forth as the said goods and
effects will attend and the law shall limit him to
these ends he hath given pledges in form of law
namely John Holmes and Thomas xxey ? both of
Castletown
