Peeltown In the name of God amen

I Edward Gawn of Peeltown being thro' the abundant mercy and goodness of God tho weak in Body yet of sound and perfect understanding and memory do constitute this my last will and testament in manner following this the 15th of Octr 1787.

Firstly I committ my soul to God and my body to Christian burial

2ny I devise bequeath and settle unto and upon my dutiful daughter Margt all my right and title unto my house and garden situate in said town.

Item I bequeath unto my two sons Edward and William five shillings each

Item I bequeath unto my son John and his [? my - though possibly indication that will was written for him] daughters Elizabeth and Jane twenty shillings each

Finally I nominate constitute and appoint my aforesaid daughter Margt whole and sole exectrix of all the rest of my goods and effects moveable and immoveable be they of what kind or denomination soever excluding and debarring all others that can claim any right to my goods with sixpence legacy each. At a chapter court holden at Kk Patrick the 10th Nov 1787 The Exectrx is sworn in court in form of law as also guardian & supervisor of the testators children who are underage and hath given in pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of this will. Edw Gawn the bror [of the children] is also sworn supervisor
