Archdeacon Wills 1784 #128, Andreas, of John NeMeer: ‘KK Andreas, March 4th, 1784:

This is affirmed by the subscribing wirnesses to be the last will and testament of John NeMeer of the parish of KK Andreas, being sick in body but of a disposing mind and memory and understanding, did on the second instant make and declare his last will and testament in manner following. First, he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he left six pence to any body that would claim any right to his goods. And lastly, he nominated constituted and appointed his loving wife Margaret NeMeer alias Rattcliffe sole executrix of all the rest of his goods and effects moveable and immovable whatever and six pence each to the witnesses hereof. Witnesses: Stephen Camaish, Cathrine Corkill.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre 16th June 1784, the executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Moore & John Camaish both of KK Andreas.’
