Archdeacon Will 1784 #88, Michael, of Elizabeth Quayle als Lace of Ballaskyr, Michael:

"March the 9th, 1784: Elizabeth Quayle of Balla-skirr in the parish of KK Michael being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory at the making hereof made this her last will and testament in manner and form following. First, she left to her daughter Ann Joughyn als Quayle a new drab or snuff color petticoat. Item, she left to her daughter Esther Joughyn ald Quayle a new gown. Item, she left to her daughter Christian Caine als Quayle her new black gown and one good sufficient sack[?]. Item, she left to her daughter Chatrine Cowley als Quayle the sum of twenty shillings. Item, she left to her daughter Jane Quayle the sum of forty shillings. Lastly, she nominated and appointed her daughter Isable Quayle whole Executrix of all the rest of her goods or effects moveable or immoveable of what nature or kind so ever, excluding and debarring any other person that should claim any further right to her effects with six pence legacy the day and date above written. The above will being declared this day in presence of [witnesses] Margrett Quiggin, John Kaighin.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael June 15th, 1784: The Executrix is sworn in Court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely John Kaighin the witness and David Cowley both of KK Michael.
