At a chapter court holden at Douglas
 14 June 1780
Catharine Geneste having departed this life 
on or about the 30th day of November last past 
intestate and this court having received intelligence
thereof as also that she had no issue, hath decreed
her husband Lewis Geneste admor of all her 
goods and chattels movable and immovable and he is
thereupon sworn well and truly to administer the goods 
of his intestate to pay all her just debts so 
far forth as her goods will extend and the law shall 
bind him and hath given pledges in form of law 
namely Messrs Robert Cæsar of the town of Douglas 
and Thomas Fargher of Shenvalley in the parish of KK Malew.
Decretum est  John Moore
