Archideaconal Wills 1779 #31, Patrick, of Thomas Leece:

This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Thos. Leece of the parish of KK Patrick made the 3d of Decembr 1778 Being in perfect mind & memory at the making thereof.
First He committed his soul to Almighty God and his Body to Christian Burial.
Itm, He left the sum of six pounds unto his SON JOHN LEECE together with quarter of all his sheep.
Itm, He left the sum of forty shillings unto his SON THOS LEECE with a sheep and a lamb.
Itm, He left unto his DAUGHTER ISABEL LEECE all his part of the sheep that is in James Cowin's keeping.
Itm, He left a sheep & a lamb unto his DAUGHTER CATHERINE LEECE and a sheep & a lamb unto his DAUGHTER JONEY LEECE.
Ittm, He left unto his aforesd THREE DAUGHTERS ISABEL CATHERINE and JONEY all his part of the money or cash that was due to him in the North xxxxx.
Ittm, He left unto his STEPDAUGHTER ELIZABETH CANNELL a furlet of oates and a yearling or young sheep unto her SON THOS CANNELL.
Ittm, He left a sheep and a lamb unto his SISTER JONEY HUTCHIN.
Ittm, He excluded his SON WM LEECE with what he already had by his Deed of Settlement.
Lastly He nominated and appointed his loving WIFE ISABEL LEECE ALS QUAYLE to be whole and sole Exectrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable of what kind soever.

Witnesses present: John Cottier his X, Henry Kneale his X, Jurati. At a Chapter Court holden at Peeltown June 4th 1xxx[hidden in fold]: The Execrx is sworn in Court in form of Law & hath give pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely the witnesses of the Will. Probatum est, sol 12d. Thos. Cubbon.
