Archdeacon Wills 1779 #20, Malew, of Robert Quayle of Castletown:

"In the name of God, Amen. I Robert Quayle of Castletown am indisposed at present but of sound and disposing mind andmemory and understanding and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make this my last will and testament in manner following: First, I commit my soul to god and my body to decent and Christian burial. I leave and bequeath to all claimers that shall claim any right in this my last will and testament five shillings British each legacy. Lastly I nominate, constitute, ordain, and appoint my loving wife Esther Quayle alias Maddrell alias Fitzgerrald sole Executrix of all the rest of my worldly goods, chattels, credits, and effects of what kind or nature soever moveable and immovable as I repose great confidence in my said loving wife that she will be kind to my friends and relations and particularly to my nephew Moore Quayle of the City of Chester in the Kingdom of Great Britain. As witness my name and seal this 8th day of March 1779. [signed] Robert Quayle. Witnesses: xxx Clague; John Saint; xxx Clague.

At Castletown on Thursday the 29th Day of April 1779, the executrix is sworn in Court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies, namely Wm Quayle of Ballahott Esquire and John Saint of Castletown."
