Episcopal Will 1779 bk 2, Patrick, of Esther Quane als Key, died 14 Jul 1779:

"Kk Patrick: At a Chapter Court holden at Peeltown, the 22nd Day of October 1779: Esther Quane als. Key of the Parish of Kk Patrick having departed this life on or about the 14th Day of July last past Intestate and this court having received Intelligence thereof hath Decreed her only Child Charles Quane admor of all her Goods and Chattles moveable and immoveable whatever, who being under age his Father Thomas Quane is sworn his Guardian and Supervisor as also to return a perfect Inventory of the Goods and Effects of the said Intestate to the Registry of this Court and to pay all her just Debts as far forth as the said Goods will extend and the Law shall bind him, and hath the said child and his Goods committed to his Tuition and hath given Pledges in Form of Law Viz. John Corrin and Gilbt. Key the father of the Intestate both of the Parish of Kk Patrick. The said Gilbt. Key is sworn Guardian of the said Charles Quane his grandson. Decreetum est, Joh: Moore, Ev. Christian. A true and perfect inventory of the Assets of Esther Quane als. Key Wife of Thos. Quane of Ballahutchin of the parish of KK Patrick late Deceased made by four sworn men Vizt. Richard Quirk Thos. Carran John Knickle and William Killey being charged and sworn to apprize the said assets which said are apprized as is hereafter specified in manner following this 3rd of Novembr. 1779.

I Charles Quane Do acknowledge to have received from my Father Thomas Quane the full sum of Thirty three Pounds Eighteen Shillings and Four Pence Manks currency Being all the right that is due unto me by the death of my mother Easter Quane als. Key and this is a receipt in full of all Debts Dues and Demands whatsoever to the day of the date hereof I say Received per me as Witness my Name and Mark this the 21st day of November 1798, Charles Quane his X. Witnesses present: Patrick Sansbury, Isaac Hutchins At KK Patrick 23rd Novr. 1798 Charles Quane the executing subscribing Party to the above written Receipt acknowledged received the money therein mentioned. Before me, Ev. Christian."
