Ramsey At a Chapter Court holden at
Lezayre May 22nd 1778
William Kermoad, perished by sea at the Town of
Liverpool on or about the month of November last past
Intestate - The Court having received Intelligence thereof
Hath Decreed his three Children namely John, Wm, & Elizth,
Kermoad joint Admins of all his Goods & Chattels moveable &
immoveable whatsoever, & the two latter being under age, the
Administration of the Effects of the Intestate is committed
by Consent of John aforesd. to Cath. Kermoad the
Widow who is thereupon sworn well & truly to administer
the Goods of the Intestate, to pay all his just Debts
so far forth as the sd Goods will extend & the Law shall
bind & to return a perfect Inventory to the Registry &
hath given Pledges in Form of Law namely Matt:
Coull & Hugh Black both of rhe Town of Ramsey __
The Deeds Part of the sd. Children under age
& their goods are likewise committed to the Tuition of
their Mother by the Consent of their sd. Brother
