Episcopal Will 1777 Malew #2, of John Geneste

At a consistory court holden
at Ballavargher in Kk Patrick
June 19th 1777
John Geneste, Mariner departed this life on the coast of Africa as by Advices
received, in or abot the year of our Lord 1770, Intestate. The
Court having received Intelligence thereof hath decreed his only
child Elizth Geneste administratrix of all his goods &
Chattels moveable and immovable whatever that are within
this Isle; and the said admrix being under age, her uncle
by thefather's side, namely Lewis Geneste is sworn her
guardian & supervisor, and by his consent the said child
& her goods are comitted to the tuition of Cath Geneste als Robinson
the widow, who is thereupon sworn well & truly to administer
the goods of her intestate, to pay all his just debts as
far as the said goods will extend & the law shall
bind & to return a perfect inventory to the Registry &
has given pledges in form of law namely John Lace
Esq attorney at law & Caesar Parr of Peeltown
