Archdeacon Wills 1776 #19, Malew, of Ellinor Quayle als Bridson, widow, died about 23 Nov 1775:

"This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Elinor Quayle als Bridson widow of KK Malew, who departed this life on or about the 23 of November 1775, being in sound mind and memory at the making thereof. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Earth. Item, she left to her son John and his wife a bed gown, a white petticoat, and a check apron. Item, she left to her son Robert twelve shillings and three pence and to his wife two striped petticoats and a checked apron. Item, she left to her son William six pence. Item, she left and ordained her son Nicholas whole Executor of al the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable and left six pence each legacy to any person or persons that claim any right to any of her said goods to the contrary of this will. Witnesses: Paul Taggart, Robert Bridson.

At a Court of Correction holden at Castletown 8th February 1776: The Executor is sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely Paul Taggart and Robert Bridson the witnesses of the will."
