Episcopal Wills - 1774 Andreas #2, Daniel Skinner

May 1774 KK Andreas. Last will and testament of Daniel Skinner of the parish pf KK Andreas , who departed this life on or about the 16th. day of May 1774 Being of perfect mind and memory at the making thereof.

First he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.

item He left to his two daughters namely Joney and Isable Skinner, ten shillings each.

item He declared that his son John Skinner, and the sd. Joney and Isable Skinner were to get a yearling each, which were left to them by their deceased mother Joney Skinner [als Radcliffe]

item He left to his brothers dau Bahee Skinner whatsoever sheep were named upon herself.

item He left to his sd. son John Skinner his clothes, with the cloth he had in the [tuck]?-Mill; excepting three yards of the same which he left to his son Daniel Skinner Junr, to make him a jacket.

item He left sixpence legacy to whosoever would sue or claim for any right to his effects.

lastly He nominated and appointed his loving wife Lucy Skinner als Ellison sole executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever. To the witnesses of this will he left a shilling each.

Witnesses John Lawson, John Teare, { Jurati.

At a chapter court holden at Lezayre 30th. May 1774.

The executrix is sworn in court in form of law and has given pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely Wm Skinner & Daniel Skinner the testators children by a former [venter]? and sd. Wm and Daniel with John Skinner are sworn guardians of the children under age and by their consent the tuition of the sd. children & their goods are committed to their mother . Probatum est. Jas Wilks John Moore.
