Archdeacon Wills, 1770 #7, Braddan, of Anne Cosnahan als Corrin of Douglas:

"I Anne Cosnahan of Corrin of Douglas being now very infirm and in an indifferent state of health but of sound and perfect mind and memory (thanks be to God) and knowing the uncertainty of human life, do make this my last will and testament in manner following: First, I commend my soul to God, hoping that through the merits and mediation of my Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to find and receive full remission for and pardon of all my sins. And my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter named. Item, I leave and bequeath unto my dear and affectionate children vizt, my son the Revd. Joseph Cosnahan, my daughter Margaret Brown, my daughter Catherine Gell, my daughter Ellinor Woods, and my daughter Anne Bridson, five shillings British each, and lastly, I nominate and appoint my dear and affectionate son Hugh Cosnahan sole executor of all the rest of my goods, chattles, and effects of what nature or quality soever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 1st day of October 1767. [signed] Anne Cosnahan. Witnesses: John Bridson, … Hampton, Catharine Chamber.

At a Court of Correction holden near Douglas 12th February 1770, the executor is sworn in court in form of law and has given pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely the Revd. Mr. Woods Vicar of Braddan and Mr. Thomas Fargher of Shenvalla."
