Archdeacon Wills 1769 #12, Patrick, of Silvester Radcliffe:

"This is affirmed the last will and testament of Silvester Radcliffe of KK Patrick, who departed this life about the 22nd of January 1769 being in perfect mind and memory at the making thereof. First he committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he left sixpence legacy to his daughter Anne Scott. Item, he left six pence a piece legacy to his two sons John Radcliffe and Robert Radcliffe. Lastly, he nominated and apointed his loving wife Catherine Radcliffe whole and sole executrix of all the rest of his goods moveable and immoveable of what kind soever. Witnesses: Thomas Quirk, Margery Lord.

At a Chapter Court holden in Peeltown 2nd March 1769, the above named executrix Catharine Radcliffe having departed this life before the above last will and testament of her deceased husband Silvester Radcliffe was proved according to law, and she having by her last will appointed her granddaughter Anne Caine executrix of her last will and testament. As the said Anne being underage, James Caine her father is thereupon sworn executor in trust as also to bring to the Registry a perfect inventory of the testator’s goods and to pay his just debts and legacies, and for those ends hath given pledges, namely Wm Mcylchreest Kerrogarroo and Philip Kneen both of German.’
