Episcopal Wills - 1768 Andreas #3, Joney Skinner als Radcliffe

The last will and testament of Joney Skinner als Radcliffe of Kk Andreas, who departed this life on or about the 28th. day of June 1768. Being of perfect mind and memory at the making hereof.

First she left her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.

She left her part of the new boat with all materials belonging to same and two pairs of new netts to her son Wm Skinner,

item She left her shaped woolen and linnen clothes equally between her two daughters namely Joney and Isable Skinner, and she further appointed that the same should not be appraised but that the sd. cloathes should be given them according to her husbands own pleasures, or as he will think fit.

item She left to each of her children namely Daniel, John, Joney, and Isable Skinner a lamb each and in case that there be not as many lambs as would serve them, that then they were to have a yearling each as many of them as would be unserved with lambs.

item She left to her son and heir Wm Skinner a 1/4/of the crop that grew on their own lands with a 1/4 of the potatoes then growing on the sd. lands.

Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving husband Daniel Skinner sole exec of all the rest of her goods of what nature or denomination whatsoever, and further left her sd. children with their goods to her sd. husbands care and tuition, to the witnesses of this will she left sixpence each.

At a chapter court holden at Lezayre 25th. Oct 1768.
Executor is sworn in court in form of law as also the three children under age, John, Joney and Isable are together with their goods committed unto him, persuant to the will and Wm Skinner and Daniel Skinner two of the children at age and sworn supervisors. The executor hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies, namely Daniel Comoad and Thos Quirke, both of KK Andreas.
