Archdeacon Wills 1765 #100, Maughold, of Margaret Wattleworth, died 14 April 1765:

‘Maughold: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Margaret Wattleworth who departed this life on or about the 14th of the month of April 1765. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her niece Margaret Tear als Wattleworth the sum of sixteen pounds which her nephew John Wattleworth was owing her. Item, she left and bequeathed unto her foresaid niece all the rest of her goods moving and immoving of what kind or denomination soever and six pence to all craven that should crave to break this her last will and testament. Witnesses: Jane Craine, Ann Corlett.

At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre, October 22, 1765, Margaret Teare is sworn executrix in Court in form of Law and has given pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely John Cowle of Lezayre and Nicholas Corlett of said parish.’
