1762, Rushen, of Patrick Moore:

The last will and testament of Patrick Moore of Braddan in the parish of Trinity Rushen who departed this life about the 24th January 1762. He commended his souls to God and his body to Christian burial. He left to his daughter Christian Casement als Moore sixpence legacy. He left all his part of the lernd farm geers to his son John Moore. He left his part of the sheep to his son and daughter, viz, Thomas Moore and Isabel Maddrel als Moore. He left a sheep and lamb each to his two grandchildren, viz, Mary and Catharine Moore. He left his coat to his son Thomas Moore if he was inclined to wear the same. Lastly he nominated and constituted and appointed his loving wife Catharine Moore als Waterson sole executrix of all the rest of his goods movable and immovable, desiring his said wife to take care of his daughter Jane while she his said wife lived and after her decease he desired that his son John above mentioned would take care of her the said Jane. Witnesses: John Waterson, John Kermod.

At Court of Correction holden at Castletown, Feb 11th 1762: the executrix is sworn in court . . .
