Episcopal Wills 1752 Malew #3, of Thomas Quay

At a Consistory Court holden at Kirk
Michael within the diocese of Sodor &
Man August 25th 1752
Captain Thomas Quay a native of Castletown
within this Isle departed this life
in the West Indies in or about the month
of April 1748 as by advice received intestate.
The Court upon intelligence thereof hath
decreed his two sisters namely Susannah
Corrin als Quay & Mary McCormick als
Quay with his brother in law Richd Slater
husband of Elizth Slater als Quay his sister
decd joint Adminrs of all his goods chattels
credits & effects moveable & immoveable
whatsoever. Henry Corrin husband of Susannah
& Mary McCormick with Ricd Slater
aforesd are sworn well & truely to administer
the effects of the decd intestate as also for
payment of debts according to law
to which ends they have given in pledges namely
Mr Willm Curghy of Castletown & Thos
Cain of Kk Michael - They are also sworn
to be just to one another in the division of
the goods
