Archdeaconal Will 1752 #40 Malew, of Robert Quay, smith of Castletown, Malew,

" Castletown, KK Malew: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Robt Quay smith of the before said Town who departed this life about the 30th day of January 1752, who was in sound mind and memory at the making thereof. First he bequeathed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Afterwards he left to his only daughter and child Jane Quay all that he was entitled to whether real or personal whome he also appointed his Executrix.

Witnesses: Joney McNameer, Ann Craine, jurate.

At a Chapter Court in Castletown, June 3d, 1752: The Executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law and has given pledges for payment of debts and legacies namely Mr. Richd Slater & Mr Henry Corrin both of Castletown.

Solvit 12d, Probatum est, Ro:Radcliffe, Matths.Curghey."
