Archdeacon Wills 1750 #38, Andreas, of John Crebbin of Andreas:

‘This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of John Crebbin of KK Andrews, who departed this life about ye 18th of December last past and was of sound and perfect mind & memory at ye making of it. First, he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he appointed all his children, sons & daughters, joint executors of all his goods moveable and immoveable equally betwixt them, & said withall that this will was his last will, and that he would never make another will. Witnesses: Stephen Radcliff, Edmund Kewin.

At a Court of Correction held at Lezayre Feb 5th, 1750, the Executors being all of age are sworn in Court in form of Law, as also to be true to one another in the division of the goods, they have likewise given pledges for payment of debts & legacies, namely Stephen Radciff & Edmund Kewin, the witnesses of the will. Whereas there is several differences depending betwixt the executors of John Crebin of the parish of KK Andrews, vizt., John Crebin, John Quark, Wm Corlet, Andrew Crebin, and Thomas Kinriey, and to avoid all further difference and Law xxx that may arise betwixt them for the future, they all joint and severally hath come to the following agreements as is now at large set down and expressed: Know all men by these presents that we John Quark, Wm Corlet, Andrew Crebin, and Thos Kinrey, with the full consent of our wifes hereafter mentioned, do by these presents absolutely surrender all right, title and interest that we now have on in any will may or ought to have in the goods, chattels and effects of John Crebin deceased unto our loving brother John Crebin his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever from us, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to have and to hold, occupy and enjoy without any further claim, suit or demand by us or either of us now or at any time hereafter. And in consideration of said surrender, the above John Crebin do bind and oblige himself, his heirs, executors and assigns to pay or cause to be paid unto the above named John quark and his wife Mary, William Corlet and Joney his wife, Andrew Crebin and his wife Christian, and Thomas Kinrey & Ann his wife the full and just sum of four xxx which is to be fully paid at or before xxx day next the writing of the tese presents and also the above named John Quark and fore said wife, William Corlet and fore said wife, Andrew Crebin and fore said wife, and Thomas Kinrey and his fore said wife do bind and oblige themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to procure the Reverend’s courts confirmation to this surrender and to uphold and awarrant the said John Crebin in the peaceable possession of the above goods, chattels, and effects of said John Crebin deceased from any further claim or demand of any person whatever now or at any time hereafter and for true and faithful performance of all things herein contained or specified the foresaid John quark and wife, William Corlet and wife, Andrew Crebin and wife, and Thomas Kinrey and foresaid wife do bind and oblige themselves jointly and severall in and under the penalty and forfeiture of twenty pounds fine to be paid and levied in nature of all other fines within this Isle in such and the like case in witness hereof they have hereunto set their names and usual marks this 5th February 1750. At Lezayre Feb 5th, 1750, John Quark, Mary Quark, Wm Corlet, Jony Corlet, Andrew Crebbin, Thos Kinry, & Ann Kinry, the subscribing parties to the within agreement have acknowledged the same to be their voluntary act and agreement before us, [signed] Ro.
